abstract stuff without too much fx.
the tune is really atmospheric and the fx are really fitting. its a but too long for my taste, it gets a little boring to watch at the end. still a quality prod, well worth the thumb!

It seems that every product quite releases, it will become my new favourite from them. My new favourite 64k on windows at least, and the second best production this year. Assuming the music is made with v2, easily the best v2 tune I haver _ever_ heard.

Fantasitic mood! It's like being inside a lonely supercomputer from space. So much data, so many conquered civilizations, yet it still cannot understand this thing that you humans call love!

The seamless transitions really does it for me in addition to the effects and patterns they make which looks awesome on their own.

I ran "ino_party_16x9_compatible.exe" from the afterparty version. The first scene, the one shown on the screenshot, works, but after that it is just black/noise all the time.

Win 7 64 bit
ATI 4870

First scene and the music is great btw!
nice!

Now that I have seen the video: the first scene, the intro scene, is also not shown. Just a layer of noise.
I still don't see much with my ATI (I thought I would because every werkzeug work simply works). I see sometimes the noise but not the light line patterns in video. I see the scene in the screenshot. Anyway, love the music, the atmosphere. It really reminds me some demos from older eras.

Rob/Optimus: there is a special ati executable in the fix zip, do not run ino_party version(s).

let me first laugh in the faces of the people saying no thumb up since its made in Werkkzeug.

LOL

rulezadded on the 2010-07-23 17:22:23 by neptun neptun
If there is no coding involved, I can't respect it as a demo. You should make your own demotool, with your own code and work. Or make your demos without tools. If its shitty, it's still yourk own work from the start to the end.

Using someone elses demotool is always a faux pas for me. Now these intros are more like animations in a sense.

But if someone really wants to spend time with someone elses demotool, its not away from me. I'm just wondering, why?

What is the difference between Blender and Werkkzeug? Is there also problem when using other's software synths, packers, graphics libraries?

If this would have been released as a wild video then I guess it would have been ok for some of you since no one expect anyone to create video editing / 3d animation software by themselves.

---

As for the product itself. This incorporates very nice ideas and the overall flow is appealing to my sense of aesthetics. Very nice work!

Really really nice - love the visuals and the soundtrack!

I made a Highres Youtube Video for it - due to the noise in the demo not beeing very encoder friendly (especially with youtubes limitations...), I decided to put it up in a higher resolution too (still 16:9). So if you got a fast pc+internet connection, view it with setting "original" for best quality:

ino by Quite | 64k (1080p)

Wait, I didn't thumb this up yet?

What most of the others said, also: Thanks for again making us stare in disbelief that this comes out of the tools we wrote. :)

I love the colours and music in this one. Nice percussion, and nice idea to multiply the soft particles with the 3D objects (at least that's what it looks like to me). I also like how it progresses so nicely.

I will listen to this music on loop.

ROFL: I was just about to comment how embarrassed I'm that I missed this release. The visuals just blow me away... the colors are just stunningly beautiful.

I guess, getting an "ugly" from Cherri is the latest testimonial.
