Ugly as hell, but party prod. :)

Okay for a partyprod even though the sound makes me want to commit suicide with a fork :)

the particles sometimes disappear, but still the effect looks nice.

What, Windows? Port it on Linux =)

Nice! but the flickering is too quick.
It is not a party prod in the full sense -- the SPH calculating and rendering pipeline was almost completed at the altitude of 11000m just before the party. So at the party I was left with three things to do:
1) tuning simulation constants to look more water-like
2) trying to come up with some depth function for scene that wouldn't make anyone throw up instantly (at which i apparently succeeded -- the partyplace was clean afterwards)
3) music, and, therefore, a quick-and-dirty synth from scratch, as at this moment i didn't have enough space for sonant/4klang (interesting fact: if i had additional 30 minutes, your ears would bleed much less, as i've almost had a delay and reverb in place).

@frag
it is completely cross-platform and was actually made on osx and only then cross-compiled to win32 for party. There's a Linux build too, but as I'm still in Tokyo and don't have access to my Linux machine, it was not tested at all. These builds are not to be tried at home :D

What gloom said about the music, but with a thumb up for the rest.

colors and music suck oh so hard, thumb is purely motivational.

@Gloom: I guess a fork is slightly better then a spoon? :)

Short and Sweet, the music came from a ZX81? But thumb for neatness and OSX support.

Raymarching + SPH in 4k is great!

But particles disappeared after about 2~3 seconds in my PC.
I can see boxes after particles disappeared.

My PC spec is:
Windows vista 32bit, Geforce9600GT, Core2Quad9300

@tomohiro
does this happen every run at exact same time?
i could only think of nvidia being excessively strict about NaN values, and therefore them being really easy to produce if not careful (and one making a 4k is not careful by definition). as every particle depends on every other particle, getting even only just one NaN somewhere instantly fills everything else to NaN too. i've seen this happen on my windows+nvidia machine also. will try to avoid this as much as i can in final version.

@w23
I tried about 10 times and happens every run.
Particles disappears almost same time.
You might need to check about sqrt(-1), pow(-1, y) or log(-1) etc.
Division by 0 generate infinity in my gpu.
