mixed feelings about this demo... super stylish, once again extremely well executed (from my amateur pov) but there's this thing with tiny winged creatures and music with lyrics that i just can't cope with... the big insect however totally blew my mind!

I thought this many times before but the log-dumps here just pushed it over the edge for me. Pouet either needs a bug-report feature per demo as a kind of back-stage function to keep the comments clean from temporary problem trash, or more sensible users (or both).

I could talk about references i see here, and if that is either stealing or chasing, but actually it doesn't even matter.
It's just a cheap-ass content spoiling the whole idea and a brilliant tool. You can't just expose an ugly looking and animated model and get away calling it stylized, it takes more than that.

Music is good though, but it doesn't save the prod much enough. Sorry.

@fizzer yes the framedrops in that scene are not because of the GPU - it's a CPU heavy scene - or it's more like a "tooll" heavy scene... and those moths are not instanced in a very effective way unfortunately... :/

The atmosphere conveyed by the music and the direction is very good, and (to me) "different" somehow than most other demos. Definitely not too slow. Thumb up for that!

Minor dislike: The "Still" triangles, although if they hang from trees and being watched from a distance, they actually look okay.

Oh, and the "progress" bar during loading actually moves back some pixels at some point. :-P

Just saw it on the big screen at Sundown. Amazing blend of art and technicality. Clever core idea and nice transition into insects, although the ending is somewhat lacking. Definitely a thumb up.
