Is this a demo of the final version with just 3 levels? It looks like a bit in the video, even because there is a note in the game to get the commercial version at Psytronik.net. But I couldn't find it on the website at all.

It's the full version. It would get pirated anyways. You must play all 13 Levels to finish the game (chapter1/chapter2). The psytronik version isn't ready yet the only plus point of the psytronik version (which will follow in somehow a month) will be a boxed copy with some cover artwork by nero.

Nothing short of amazing. Bauknecht dominates the 264 series as nobody else. Deeply impressed by the overall performance. You guys are a great team.

Thanks for clarification, mad. Unfortunately the game still doesn't support SD2IEC hardware and requires a real 1541/1551 drive. Will there be any update in future to disable the fastloeder?

@PARALAX: I tried to implement a kernal loading routine there, but it just didn't work propperly. I quitted implementing it somehow because the loading times would be again like 5-6 minutes for every screen even on SD2IEC (I just read about some fast loaders for the SD2IEC but they all seem not to be a intrinsic feature of it).

If it's ok to have all the time a black screen for 5-6 minutes I could try to get it working again but I don't think thats a propper solution. Another point is that the disc is filled to the max (0 blocks free) and so there is not much room left for these kind of stuff.

I think it's just very unlikely that this is implemented in the near future. :|

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the best game ever released for the Plus4.

@PARALAX: there it is, I build a version which seem to run also with a SD2IEC. Atleast the people at plus4world told so. So download it and have fun!

Awesome! Great level GFX and code, I only wish the music was less cliche chirpy chiptuneish (sorry Luca buddy).

I tried out the first level of the second chapter. The scrolling and the action is amazing, jerky when many things is happening at once, but the action and the collision detection is spot-on, quite precise. Overall, I praise the colorful design and the sensible level construction, I was able to collect all fairies even so I dropped down to the bottom of the level at first try. It really feels like playing Turrican on a Plus/4!
