Really cool one. Your best so far in my opinion.

Big improvement because of slower pacing and athmosphere. And what Gaspode said, great work!

Awesome tech -- the cathedral scene was especially impressive with the colorful rays of light. Also nice slow pacing and athmosphere.
Geometry was kinda bland though and the scenes overstayed their welcome after a while -- half the amount of flybys on both the cathedral and bridge would have been plenty imho.
For some reason, the bridge scene sometimes became an eyesore on the compo machine due to low framerate and strange motion blur -- guess that wasn't intended ;)
Nits aside, nice idea and technically impressive execution!

Really nice 64k, completely enjoyed it. Nice visuals, fitting soundtrack, some of the camera motions could be a bit better though but it's just a minor detail. Great work, your best release so far.

I love the tech, the concept, and the music. The scenes are just a tiny bit slow, but despite that I think the pacing builds up the atmosphere really well. Still, I'm impressed by the amount of content and also your versatility as a demo-director, being able to pull off both boom-boom flashy demos and slow-placed reflective works.

Just one nitpick: I would probably have not used the afterimage motion blur because it kinda fell apart a bit in the compo due to framerate drops in some places.

Impressive and really enjoyable demo. Rulez!

Best BeRo demo for sure. Some nice volumetric light effects. Shame the rollercoaster camera paths are still there but the scenes are nice and the music fits well. Great stuff from one person.

Cathedral in fr08 was waaay better) The demo itself is boring. So piggie

Very cool, I liked that very much, especially the scenes at church.

Really, really gorgeous production! Visually, this is extremely nice, and I really like the shift to the winter-scene. The colored-glass is perhaps a bit outdated by now, but it sure as hell looked good :) On the music side, I must compliment the composition. It's really a catchy and moody track you've managed to pull off here. The synth, on the other hand, doesn't quite do it justice. I would so want for someone to somehow introduce a new synth to the tool. I know you've put great effort into the instrument design (it really pays off!) but the quiality of the synth is simply not on par and to be honest, somewhat undermines the massive achievement you did with especially the piano and the guitar. The string instruments sound way too metallic/synthetic and they could probably benefit from being slightly reduced in amplitude compared to the other instruments. Of course, that's all just minor details, but I really think the composition is so wonderful, that it deserves great instruments as well.
However, it doesn't change the fact, that this is a truly fantastic intro and to see this much content and detail in a 64k is usually only reserved for the largest parties. Amazing job, BeRo!

What the rest said, your best intro so far.

Constructive criticism: Demos are for humans, and humans define "up" as the normal vector of the earth where the human is standing on. Cameras are for humans, too. Try to align the definition of "up" for humans and cameras, please.

"Roller coaster camera" is a funny and fitting description. I would suggest that you at least try to imagine the actual machinery required to move a physical camera in such a way so that your scenes get shot that way... it's crazy.

If you mean the two last extreme camera paths from the bridge scene, they are based on the concepts amongst other things from "HM105 Bigger And Better Part III - Keyframes Etc" from the "Hollywood Camera Work" series on the "Extreme keyframe"-topic. Most all my camera paths in this intro (except two camera paths in the workroom scenes, the one camera path below from the chair to the book and the one camera path out from the book to the candle) are based on this "Hollywood Camera Work" series.

And as additional funfact info:

This 64k originally had only this one church scene, but some previewer said that this would be too few scenes for this circa 5min long soundtrack (or respectively that the soundtrack should be shortened otherwise), so I've added the two other scenes in the 2-3 days before the UNC2016. And with regard to the camera paths, the previewers have told me nothing negative. But in turn, I got productive criticism feedback from these previewers only in terms of colors (for example in term of too colorful a ka coder colors), optical global illumination quality, that there are (or now were) too few scenes, etc.

Your best intro so far, however please stick to the code leaving music/artwork/3d to someone else. Lots of potential flushed in this boring AF flyby something.

visuals are ok, music is ok, but the prod is so damn boring :\ 64k piggie
Only a weak thumb-up.

Here is why:
++ Instruments are great! Physical modelling pays off nicely here. So, good job on this front,
+ Interesting rendering techniques - great to see some experimenting. Abberations, soft shadows, volumetric lights, all works nicely. I'm so not sure about physically based lighting/shading - everything is a bit too pastel, maybe it's a matter of parameters though,
- camera work (as mentioned by others) drags everything down, based some tutorial or not it still sucks (objectively I guess ;l)),
- not much going on besides fly-by (although I feel ur pain, it's usually my problem as well),
+- religious content, this is highly subjective, so shouldn't affect my score, but I'm not a big fan of this kind of (probably unintended) propaganda. It would be ok to me if not taken so seriously though.

Overall, it's hard not to thumb this up. Also it's always good to see somebody active and really into it! :)
