Nice prod, not winner for me...

Was not bad. But the Cocoon one was way better in my opinion.

I agree, Cocoon wins !!!

My favorite from the compo, and a deserved win IMO, although I also fully expected Cocoon to win ...

ace music! the prod offers a lot of different scenes but somehow they feel mostly quite unconnected. overall very enjoyable though :)

Very very fun prod. Deserved the win!

Nice WebGL demo worked good in both Firefox and Chrome for me :) and congrats for winning

Bunch of fun effect, some good animation and some good music, but it really really had no whole, so a bit too random to work for me. Still mad props for making it tho :)

some scenes quite ok!

Very fun to watch! Happy and jolly, nice change of pace from demos that are maybe too serious. Soundtrack was spot on!

So funky it's ridiculous. I love the fluid style and pacing, and the unapologetic feelgood style. Extremely suitable for the summertime, but fresh in any season :)

Solskogen is an 18+ party, and accusing someone of cheating when you're not even at the party is utterly stupid. Whip up some evidence to back your ignorant and insulting claims or go fuck yourself.

Actually, go fuck yourself anyway. Your attitude is appalling.

Fuck off. Ninjadev rules.

Rafale06 can go fuck himself with a blunt object. If you don't even go to the party, you're entitled to complain about jack shit.

This had a very playful and fun soundtrack, packed with tons of great content. It felt a bit disconnected at certain points, but I am in awe of how many good ideas this demo contains. It does feature a ton of glow and coder-colors, but I recon its the desired style :)

Fantastic to see such a group grow and create demos like this!

A Fresh breath in the compo. Never thought it would win, but seeing so happy these guys got when winning was priceless and gives faith that this demoscene thing actually will continue in the years to come (even though we've been dying for...hmmmm..15+ years now)

Also what AngryLug0 and CholoFerris' last posts said :P

Excellent, very smooth, lovely style, a good balance between art & technical effects and happy tune !
rulez added on the 2017-07-17 12:32:42 by Asato Asato
It ran on WebGL in Linux with sound and without hanging the browser. This is quite an achievement. Visiting shadertoy usually means browser restart here after a few shaders here.

Got enough scenes and ideas to make it interesting. It's not the right demo to cut yourself to though.

9 coders!! I'd like to see a demo group with 9 coders, 9 graphicians , 9 3d-modellerers and 9 musicians pouring content into one demo.

Great ideas and fresh as hell.

Basically this feels like a late reparation for a too low ranking at Revision IMO. Good one, though I had clearly seen Cocoon on first place.

This wasn't my personal favorite from the party (I think Ninjadev's earlier installments have been more fluid, happier, more fun and better-looking), but complaining about voting is so lame. People have different tastes, and there's certainly nothing wrong with it pushing Cocoon down to second; on the contrary, well deserved.

I assume you mean "12 coders!!", now that we've registered all participants :D.
Groovy

thing was a bit disconnected as a whole, maybe due to large amount of participants in the prod. maybe one director next time? :D

i preferred cocoon's entry but this is still a worthy winner.

excellent soundtrack, the fluid and charming style made me smile :)

12 coders! :D And one of them is called capitalism! This was very fun to watch but lack of coherence hurts the pacing so it's a bit hard to follow at times.

It online demo doesn't load in my SeaMonkey v2.46 & IE v11 in my old updated 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 box. Anyways, decent demo. :)

Cute, nostalgic, entertaining. Also impressive to that you are able to coordinate making a demo with a team this big. Proper 2017 megademo!

Cheesy music and starter effects+filter aside, you can just tell they had so much fun doing this! :)

Must have been hell putting this mix together with actual direction :D

And this makes it impossible to not thumb up.

A strange mixture of cool and meh. I like the way it jumps from scene to completely unrelated scene.

I think I agree with everyone above, except for that whiner complaining about the voting. Great job Ninjadev! :)

Many good ideas, and a very nice greetings part. Leave out the flashing next time. There is no need for it in most cases.

Liked this much more than your Revision entry. The problems are mostly the same that have already been listed, i.e. the lack of cohesion and unity (both design and overall quality), which most likely stems from the fact that you have like a dozen people working on the visuals... :) not that there's anything wrong with that! The sync itself is thankfully more playful, loose and creative this time, as opposed to being so forcefully hammered to the lead melody as earlier (there's still some of that present here too but it's not nearly as bothersome). Same with the music; especially they way you finished it off is just wonderful!

Maybe something else next time? Or not.. just keep doing your thing. You have a good one going :)

I like the variation, sync and happy atmosphere!

Also this "deserved" to win just as much as Cocoon did. Especially non-visitors to a party commenting about rankings is so silly. Voting is a social thing, not directly correlated with quality of a demo (which is largely subjective anyway). This demo is good and with a lot of effort and heart behind it. That shit appeals to people too.

Chirpy and uplifting as always, spot-on sync and nice effects! A demo that makes me happy even if it's ultimately just a bunch of random (but cool) scenes mashed together.
Like it a lot, just needs a lot more coherence (which you delivered in your Revision invite), and please get yourselves a new lead instrument! It was cool the first time but starts to become pretty grating.
