                      -[ final version ]-

A demo planned for free release but finally released at
FunTop'98 and won the demo competition. We hope you'll enjoy
our demo and stay tuned for the next Extreme production :) We
apologise greatly for the long delay with the release of the
final version - please don't blame us, we haven't got much free
time. Big thanx to FunTop organizers for their patience and
trust in us :)

Refresh is our last production for Speccy. We are leaving
ZX scene and going forward to Amiga. So if you wanna see our
new production then buy Amiga with PowerPC turboboard :)

    Some blahblah from Exploder:
    ----------------------------

The general effects & parts of this demo were made a short
time after Enlight'97. The Demo wasn't planned for any party
and we intended to release it in November-December of 1997 for
free. But soon the development of Refresh was postponed because
of different reasons like laziness, depression (dreams about
Amiga ;) etc. Then some minor additions were made in Spring,
1998. All that time we knew about FunTop but didn't plan to
take part in the competitions coz we think that Funtop sux ;)
Development of the demo was resumed about one week before
FunTop started - coz its organizers offered money prizes (and I
want Amiga!!!). The Party version was quiet unfinished (only I
could launch it) - that's why I decided not to spread the party
version. I apologise again for the long delay in releasing the
final version, but my free time is very limited. Big thanx to
the FunTop organizers and all who like our production. See you
on AMIGA! ;)

    Some words from TeeRay:
    -----------------------

Under the inspiration of Enlight'97 our "great" coder wanted
to create a new demo. He planned to make it in a very short
amount of time and only as a FREE(!?) release, not for any
party. He gave me alot of work but sometime later left the demo
project!!! We prepared many, many(!) different animations but
later selected just 2(!!!)! Some crazy coders & organizers make
me crazy too! I don't like it. I'm lazy. Bye.

    Some blahblah from MagiC:
    -------------------------

Alot of lameness demos/gfx/muzak was at FunTop'98... But
the scene is still alive, yeah! Look for our next production on
Amiga! See ya.

    Some blahblah from Visual:
    --------------------------

Actually I started to write the mzx 4 refresh in
november-december 1997. Exploder asked me for music from Sumea
(amiga demo). I made it after a long time of very hard-work :)
Last edition of sumea-theme was finished one day before FunTop.
Really the sumea-theme was very hard for me to write coz I
didn't have the original (by Alien/VD)! Also I had to
synchronize it 4 Refresh effects. It was REALLY REALLY hard.
:) Also I wanna greet all my friendz from different platformz!

    Requirements:
    --------------------------------------------------------

Demo must be placed at the track 1 sector 0 on the disk. We
also certainly recommend to use "ReFormat" (included) with this
disk to optimize disk structure for correct loading animations
and parts of the demo.

Timings in 2D-parts made on 3.5MHz/71680/NOWAIT machine so
they should not work faster on faster machines.

3D-parts works perfectly on faster machines. Emulators are
prefered.

So ideal configuration is Pentagon 128k.

    List Of The Parts:
    --------------------------------------------------------

        1 - Focused credits 50

        3 - Ultracolor animated tunnel sequence 12.5
