New Year's Disk 2024
====================
Hello everyone!

Another time you made me smile like a child. So great that we have another NYD
this year! Long time - sheer endliss time - I had thought that this time could
be the last edition of this project of my heart. I got first entries by eMKay
and Buddy early - around Xmas days, but then... NOTHING, no e-mail, no mesage,
not even a shout, like 'I will contribute', just SILENCE...
But then - December 30th around noon a mail from Foster arrived with nice
songs. Hey cool! I thought, but still was not sure if there will be more
entries. At end of the day Philsan and Atari8man sent something, too.
I am happy, that the idea behind NYD is still alive and you still like it!
For me it was a bit like in 2006, when I didn't know if someone will snap in
and my idea will become a final product :D

Ok, don't want to bore you with a long story here anymore. You can read more
in the scrollers of the disks...

Wish you all the best for 2024!

05 - Planet Dead (NTSC) by Philsan
06 - 2024 (NTSC) by Atari8man

eMKay uses some undocumented features of POKEY and development of dxRMT seems
on halt (hope rensoupp is all well), so it is not possible to make a good 60Hz
version of his songs at the moment.

I was not able to get entries by Teapot and F#READY running from my loader. So
I finally decided (after trying to get Teapot's entry running for about 6
hours) to use 'good old' MyPicoDOS here.

NYD_2024_Disk6_VBXE Slide Show Abbuc KI 155.atr
-----------------------------------------------
A slide show for all VBXE ATARIs.

I try to translate the infos by Yellow-Man about this now:

This slide show is the result of the creation of the title picture of latest
ABBUC Magazin paper #155. Club leader CAS had a wish list of what should be
seen in the picture: Santa Clause, ATARI, some disks and a whole Xmas scenery.

That was feeded into AI by Bunsen and the pictures are the result of this.

Yellow-Man finally converted them into VBXE DAT structure to be able to use
them in the slide show programm by Candle'O'Sin.
