Well, i asked Tobe (who made the changes to compile under freeBSD) to provide a binary, and he said that, like on linux, users would prefer building from source.
For the DOS version, actually the binary from the windows version is used, with a special dos extender. It is not the usual way to support DOS, but it works fine, we are supporting it, and we made specific changes to the code to ensure so. There is no real interest in providing a specific archive as of now. We'll add one if we feel supporting DOS limits us for the windows version, and having different binaries is better.

pulkomandy, what part of "no download link for those platforms, no icon" is so hard to understand? no boring/pointless argumentations please, provide download links or accept that you don't get the icons. simple as that...

if new_thread_name == some_thread_name_already_in_bbs_case_insensitive then redirect to existing thread and display message "use the search luke or I'll slap your sorry ass"

and maybe if thread is older than 1 year and has posts <= 3 then delete
(this should actually be "if isUseless(thread)" but this may delete the entire BBS)
