JACE (Java Apple Computer Emulator) already had support for cycle-accurate video and mockingboard. Now it is possible to write, assemble, and execute 6502/65c02 macro assembly from a built-in editor. The feature is still early in development but it's gotten past the initial "hello world" hurdles.
