according to ryanair, [url=http://www.bcnparty.org]BCNParty[url] just became one of the most accessible parties ever:

BB Image. if you book now, rates will be darnedly cheap! (and they will rise the longer you wait).

BCNParty is, supposedly the best demoparty in spain, a sceners-only party in the middle of barcelona. 29oct - 1nov. you should all attend!

I'm more worried about the map itself. Did global warming start without me?

The money will go to beer, beer and transport to other places. Please give me money. Im tired of selling my body on the local gaybar

btw.. as best points (imho)

cheap beer, cheap donsi ;), cheap food (actually the economy in spain is very cheap), GOOD food, only-scene party, 2ndstage (lives, djs, vjs gigs), big meadow/park next to the partyplace, nice city to visit (gaudi powered), and of course.. FUCKING GREAT WEATHER (in november too)!

define good + cheap food. define donsi.
rasmus: good food = spanish food (of course)... cheap... in barcelona... kinda same level than europe, a bit cheaper maybe... Spain is usually cheaper than the rest of europe, yet prices have rised a lot with the Euro thing, so the level has became the same.

Donsi = Sangría Don Simon (brik pack of Sangria... "official" scene drink in Spain for parties [expect to see tons of 1lt briks around]).

Btw, at BCNParty, and due to Spanish laws, boozing (other than 'soft' boozing, like beer or donsi) is not permitted :/... as it's in the middle of the city, you can't also drink outside either [there are spanish laws prohibiting this, and you can get a damn nice fine for it]... however, we'll go partying on both friday and saturday night, and you can booze all you want there...

BCNParty (spanish parties, all in all) are not like euro-parties like BP-M/S, Boozembly and such... this is quite more relaxed and you won't go around watching drunk people throwing up, or having bonfires all around... but trust me, you will feel the scene spirit around, lots of friendlyness, nice live performances, clubbing-parties at nights, nice compos, and all in all, a great demoparty/scene-feeling...

If what you expect is only boozing around and getting drunk to limits, then this is not your party... if you expect lots of demoscene, great people, ambient, mood, compos (and a nice clubbing party) at a beautiful city like Barcelona is... you will surely not regret being there!

sounds like a party in the spirit of mr. Burt LANcaster.
not quite... it's FAR different from LAN Parties :)

It feels a little bit like LTP if I read this, a peaceful not too big scene party with moderate boozing (I see that beer is still allowed :-) in a cool city. Can someone who went to both parties confirm this, or are these parties totaly different?

bcnparty was VERY influenced by LTP4 (I went to that oe with my brother Dr.Kami, and we got some ideas to organize bcnparty). We just tryed to do a party with the same feeling.. Also the first bcnparty invtro was released at ltp4.. But compared with LTP, bcnparty is 5min walking from barcelona train station (sants) ;)
