ShaneTheWolf is of course right as far as the XBox is concerned, as this is a refurbished PC already, and the Dreamcast and Playstation 2 are seriously impaired for processing office documents. If you want to see productions that were crafted for real hardware, then get real hardware, and if you don't, you have every right to remain silent. For Playstation 2 productions there's no need to modify the hardware; all you need is a network adapter, a Playstation 1 game and some software. For more info see here and here. If you're too lazy, you can burn and run CDs on modded PS2s as well.

well, to be honest, the term personal computer that I subscribe to *does* leave space for amigas and ataris ;)
Also, the more I read bifat's posts, the more puzzled I get. What kind of lunatic would suggest that people too lazy for the softmod should magically obtain a modded ps2 and burn discs on the same thing, which, already very unlikely, would require assloads of time, money and time better spent elsewhere? *head explodes*

Shifter, depends on what you consider a fuss. Did you try the independence exploit already? - It's a bit tricky. Modding might come in more handy if you just want to watch a few demos. And regarding "time better spent elsewhere"... where could it better be spent? The Playstation 2 is the true successor to the Amiga 500!
Shifter: right, you best have a bootleg tape of that show. Seriously. That would be waay too cool to pass up.
