It's ok for me if you want to inform the original creators. But I just wanted to point out that these things are very frequently happening in the real world industry. And it seems to me weird when sceners tend to get so serious with that..

Wow...

Indeed the begining of the flash is a pure rip of Orion's demo Purple, the scene where you see planets everywhere with precisely the same soundtrack part (from Chaosnet/Orion & me).

I didn't know at all about this, thanks for have spot it.
I'm mailing the guy in order to get some proper credit links ;)

yeah, just surprised me to hear it and I just wanted to let you know about it ;)

and Optimus, I am in the real world music industry, thank you, goodbye
optimus: you should read up on copyright infrigment laws before speaking about these issues. not only is it illegal, its unlawfull and repugnant, specially when ripping from non-profit sources.

"...are very frequently happening in the real world industry. And it seems to me weird when sceners tend to get so serious with that.."

optimus: these are happening frequently as long as the original creators don't find out about it..
if they find out and have enough money(!) to prove it and get it to the court, they'll sue the hell out of you! there are tons of examples in real life!

Ok, ok, ok,. you win (I just had something with sceners ;P)

toxie: and even if the original creators are happy with the "ripping" (e.g. a parody), the label WILL sue... (see negativland vs u2)

Used to run 3 dance labels and did about 30 twelves and coproduced on about triple that, was on Global Underground etc compilations and did studio engineering and mastering for local and foreign clients that wanted to record in the 'dam like Photek and Carl Craig for instance ... Also did music and effects for TV commercials. Got fed up with stupid boss and he still owes me money. Still doing music and have connections but combining it with a 'serious' job now :)

nice, must say that the names don't really ring a bell (sorry, not really into tech house :)) but you did a song called 'flux capacitor' which stands for immediate respect :)
