8. well, i enjoyed dragons lair and space ace so i dont mind nice visuals and crappy gameplay. my problem with new games is that they dont look good in the way that for example agony did

Pouet is about lamers who don't know reading and don't stop flaming in trolls.
They don't accept objective reasoning and are unable to follow an argumentation from A to Z.
In fact they don't know reading because they don't take the time to.
They emphasis on totally useless things like grammar and spellings instead of focusing on aim, goal and meaning of an article / topic.
They don't reinvent a better society: they create a worse one where it's impossible to communicate efficiently.
As a result, I'll put www.pouet.net 127.0.0.1 in my hosts file and then reducing the time lost with stuborn creatures.
I'll came back in some years after the "rebirth" of the scene if any: apparently the game industry didn't managed to convince people making quality and as game industry is on what sceners rely upon for their survivance, I don't see the point in following so.
I didn't save the scene but I've done what I can:
sceners have not evolved since I left them years ago. They are still stupid, stuborn and know everything about everything because they have a huge experience with users and non computer used people... In the last part of the last sentence, I ironise of course.
They remember me church in a certain way: the same strange and lame traditions which don't rely on anything rational.
I've lost my time: I though such guys have huge scientific knowledge and really nuanced intelligence, in fact I met really common spirits there with really common way of living and acting.
Most sceners lost themself in alcohol to hide and forget their pain and problems like millions people do to. They are addict to computers and are not at all serious nor responsible. I though you've became adult with years but sadly I mistaken.
And that's such kind of society we work in: nothing work the first time and we always have to fight to get the job done: what could take 5 mins with cooperative and clever guys take 3 days to monthes with sceners minded guys...
To sum up they focus like almost non intelligent people on the shape and not on the deep down, on the useless and not on the useful...

Because most people haven't joined the scene to become serious adults, while others visit demoparties just for the beer ;)
