Pinball Dreaming = Dead?

category: general [glöplog]
Hi fans,

found some very interesting news for you:

In Summer 2005, the Rocket will publish the Pinball Dreaming game to mobile platforms, which is based on the Pinball Dreams trilogy:

  1. Pinball Dreams
  2. Pinball Fantasies
  3. Pinball Illusions

The full Article & Creator Hompage goes here. But for now, in summer 2006, I heard nothing more from Pinball Dreaming :-(

So, I want you to ask, was this just a dream.. never we're been able to play our oldskool calssic's mobile.. no production reports since this article.. this is really bad I think & you?

Sounds dead.

If Rob Hubbard actually composed any music for it before the project died, I hope it eventually gets released somehow...

Hey hey hey!

It hasn't been dumped, far from it. We have a few tables running but the delay has been due to having the revelation that releasing it on Symbian probably isn't that great business wise.

Stay tuned, you could very well see the whole trilogy on another mobile system near you before the year's end ;)

And oh, Hubbard did compose a coupla tunes for it =)

Yeh, I wouldn't mind playing it on my Nokia either, but the hell will freeze over before I would actually pay money for games on my cellphone... Which I guess proves dekk's point ;)

And I first wrote "pint" instead of "point". I guess that's subconscious message that it is indeed time to stop working, go home and grab a beer.
