New DTV- It's in the name!

No it's not a secret any more- you have been hearing us grumbling it since several months. Yes we are in hot footsteps now
to transform DTV from its current webtv into a professionnal iptv project (base coverage: 5mio viewers for France), with
planned developments to European digital channels.
DTV however stays on its values: you make it, you watch it, hence we need your help for your new channel name!
Not only will we broadcast demoscene content, but we will be offering a general free-art content, support channel
with keywords digital arts, music, animation, short films. Expect then to see demoshows, interviews, live compos, conerts, magazines
and our general open and support to creation spirit

demoscene.tv is a stupid name if the channel is no longer going to broadcast demoscene related material exclusively (or even mainly) but instead all kinds of "digital arts, music, animation, short films"
kind of like a channel called "music television" that broadcasts only reality tv shows...

-> IPTV project definition: i know it can be confusing for some countries still but in France technologically speaking we can now differentiate the pure webtv channels (like current DTV) from the real IPTV (cable high bandwith internet) channels. Hence, since 2005, we have a big offer to all audiences for IPTV channels that are offered like a standard hertzian channel to 5mio++ viewers. I am working on a similar DTV digital project with Digitale Kultur ev friends for Germany currently (more later on this one). Yes Nolife is a good example.
->Of course Demoscene TV is a great name and it will remain (we will try to keep it everywhere we can, i am myself on the same opinion as you) as well as DTV itself. Do not think we will change because we will not. We will keep our line to support your work guys everywhere on the planet as we do- coming to see you included.
but if you re-check my notes, i -maybe badly- explained myself.
Our IPTV project is a global digital arts and support to arts tv channel, into which DTV will have its -large- space, lives, demoshows and the rest. The moto will stay: YOUR tv. You will still make it, we will still show it. no fuss about that.
So sorry about confusion, but DTV (apart from carrying on) will become a pillar part of our IPTV project, that you need to see as an aggregation of art-oriented content. Our spirit is to enhance our support to all art scenes, and esp demoscene via this platform. Demoscene has so many connected scenes (I speak here about VJing, music, animations, all other DTV related scenes - speaking here ie for my friend mr.doob from XPLSV.tv!)
