RIP Crest

I agree that the quantity of contacts/friends you have doesn't qualify you as social. By that definition nazi skinheads are social beeings too, since they also like to gather.

Hm, does Godwin's Law apply here? ;-)

I think when it comes to honoring the dead, only permanent harms inflicted to others should be mentioned to fill up the picture. Everything else fits into the "I personally don't like him/her"-department and shouldn't have a place here.

i dont think Crest or any deceased scener deserves to have a bunch of pseudo-psychotherapists ranting about the grimmy edges of their lifestyle, personality and what not.
amen to that. thread closed.

I feel fucking sad. I feel fucking sad because of his death. I feel fucking sad that i didn't even notice he was gone. And i feel fucking sad for myself for ignoring him and laughing about him because he was the weird guy that he was. He was trying to make contact with me back in the late 90's, but i rejected him, like many others. I can imagine how you must have felt, Crest, and i just honestly want to say sorry. Rest in peace.

Ah, just read back. Weasel of Amour. Anything to know about him? What did he do on the scene, etc?

Hi tomcat. Weasel of Amour aka Mikko Havukainen was a composer of excellent chiptunes. We also did a collabtrack called Happyarpeg that was released on Kahvi Collective way back when. with artwork from Antony/Pulse or Antony Squizzato.

Weasel showed me tons of stuff about music and samplemaking and was a very good friend. Still miss him.
