As much as i personally love Aether, you sure it won't freak out/confuse the gamer tard that'll be at the show? I think it's an aquired taste?

Freaking out people is by far the best way to make them pay attention and to leave a permanent memory of something. "Oh fuck that was some creepy shit" sticks a lot better into the human brain than "oh that was nice".

Very true, i just had in my mind them viewing it and thinking "wtf is that" and moving on, but also i can see how curiosity could get the better of them and keep them watching like it does with Debris as it has great visuals. The average person wether we like it or not willl go purely on the visuals and a great tune is a bonus, so you need the ones that'll grab people at 1st glance and get them thinking they'd like to see more.

It's like you know me! :D But i know many gamers, and it does sum them up pretty well when it comes to appreciating demoscene productions, of course there are those who get them and think they are great, as long as they look good :)

Considering the population of gamers is a lot more diverse than the population of sceners, generalizations regarding their tastes are dead on arrival.
