No it's kusmas new surprise compo.

The "running with scissors compo" was such a huge hit he had to make a new one..

To make Gargaj happy we now added euro prices on the meals we serve.. Just so you know :)

That's cheap. Are you landing at Gardemoen or Torp ?

Here's the driving route for those who are coming by car. It takes about an hour to get there (a bit more if you're driving with Sesse as your navigator :) but keep in mind that the roads are really, REALLY icy at that time of year. The last two years it has been like polished glass (and foggy), so make sure you have your winter tires on (for the danes: THESE ARE TIRES WITH SPIKES! WE USE THEM WHEN THERE IS SNOW!) and drive safe.

puryx: You'll probably want to update your "norwegian demoparty travel FAQ" then, if it should be general. ;)

gloom: hehe, I don't think we're going other than us three, maybe one or two more, if they get their asses moving and order a ticket while they're cheap ;) - we'll drink their amount of beers though!

puryx: You'll have to compensate in the pants-dropping-department as well, remember!

Your directions will be a tad more accurate if you enter "Hagaplassen, Nes, Norway" instead of "Haga, Nes, Norway". You will then be taken to the party-place instead of the train-station.

The real party is outside kusma, don't you know?

I hope you replaced NOK with EUR? He won't know the difference, as everybody knows the food prices in Norway are insanely high, so he'll just think "Ok, I'll pay" and POOF! More money for compo prizes!
leia: While what you're saying is true, I'm pretty sure the real party is not at the *train station*.

Rest assured that Gargaj's ignorance is accounted for at least half of the budget of KG08.

i really love the new kindergarden website but i was kinda hoping you would make it more web 2.0 - like this nice webshop site, arngren.net

this is the new standard you know!!

muhahahaha!

I was maybe hoping for something like this web3.0 http://www.arne.no/

I also like the arngren.net site, but it needs more items on its front page. I mean, there is plenty of space left on the right side.

Btw: Im sooooo loooking forward getting This delivered from Arngren.

Unfortunately the web 2.0 sites haven't upgraded their URLs to the new web 2.5 naming scheme like this one

atm ryanair has a nearly unbeatable offer to fly to oslo torp from my local airport... i'd be flying on friday, and returning on sunday, both afternoon flights.

traveltime from oslo torp to haga is about 3 hours in total (correct me if i'm wrong please). a return bus ticket to oslo is 300NOK, a train ticket from oslo to haga is 94NOK each way. so a grand total of about 500NOK for the whole trip inside norway (incidentally exactly twice the price of the flight =)).

can any local please correct me if i'm wrong anywhere in that deduction? :)

That sounds about right :)

How late are the flights in and out? The last train to haga is pretty late but the first train away from haga is not very early as its sunday..
