WTF is wrong with you?

category: general [glöplog]
The threads I opened today were the most pure simple things. They were just talking about demos and nothing else. I am surprised that you find that lame. I was expecting this kind of attitude in other threads. Perhaps you are just prejudged of me..

You all suck! :P

You need to realize that "Owning" the whole place by being about equally active (even if the stuff was meaningful and interesting) as everyone else put together isn't really very constructive.. kinda turns discussion into a dialog.

This isn't the only place where such happens btw.

go and play with yourself instead of wasting other peoples time with stupid threads

Pouet was shit anyways without me. Only a small percentage of the stupid threads are mine. Why are they always blaming me? Because humans are hypocrites..

And GET A LIFE if you want to put it this way. I am wondering why are always telling about me, since everyone is here in Pouet spending enough of his time? If this sucks or anything then why don't you get a life, you who tell me to get one?!?!

"Pouet was shit anyways without me."

this is like the most arrogant statement ever.

and the small percentage is around 7-8%. plus you've posted over twice more bbs posts than the runner up.

See, Optimus's brain works differently than yours or mine. We all formulate various thoughts in our brains, such as:

1. I want a cookie.
2. That girl is pretty.

When you or I think the first thought, our reaction is physical, we get up, walk to the cupboard, and take out a cookie. With the second thought, our reaction is personal. We approach the girl, and say to them "Hey, you are pretty".

But the mind Optimus reacts differently. Optimus's response to the first thought is, go on pouet.net and write on a oneliner or BBS thread "I want a cookie". For the second thought, Optimus's response would also be to go on pouet.net and write in a oneliner or BBS thread "That girl is pretty".

I believe we need a team of psychiatrists and neurologists to follow and study Optimus, both with and without internet access. I have a theory that, if not in view of a computer, his brain and senses will somehow direct him to the nearest internet cafe upon formulation of a thought.

3. I want to show you my slide rule.
Phoenix: hmm, that would make a good theme for a psycho-thriller movie :-)

The main character (Optimus) has to keep writing his thoughts on the Internet (scribo, ergo sum = I write, therefore I am), because if he fails to do so he will vanish from the Earth. Once in a while he gets in a situation without Internet and he *has* to find a terminal (the thriller part) or else he will die. The viewer will never really find out if the person is crazy, or if his belief is right (the psycho part). The movie ends when the person decides to stop posting to the Internet to see what happens, but we never get to see what happens to him...

Thom is my hero now.

Sparcus needs to make his move in hollywood though. No doubt will he get fucked over by the producers, making all sceners write demos on imacs using silly GUI shells, but it's worth a shot.

(I hope they cast Neil or Adrian Rayment for Dubmood)

[shifter] : Hollywood producers also like to put an SGI in the hands of 12yo geeks

Thom you brought up this slide rule in another thread regarding splines. What is that?
shifter, wake up.

Sceners ARE writing demos on iMacs using GUI shells, and there's nothing wrong with that.

www.macscene.org is dead mac.scene.org is the new site.

Anyways, I'd like to boost my ego and say:

Hmm just noticed now that it's going down. That's a shame. It's how I discovered there was a mac scene.
A sneak-peak of the preliminary engine for my slide rule demo:

Farbrausch -- beware!!!
pathetic greek geeks doesn't turn me on, but it's quite fun to read about them :-)

WHAT A FUCKED UP BORING LIFE YOU HAVE OPTIMUS!

I've always wondered how anyone could be SO interested in the demoscene without really PARTICIPATING in it.

(Yes, what's the deal with that US-dude who promotes(??) demos over there? Why not write his own shit instead of living high on our shit.)

Thumbs down to pouet.net-users who has never RELEASED a demo/intro.

Last thought, Sweden and Holland stinks - Denmark OWNS!
Wow Thom. Your engine kicks ass. It's almost as good as zombo com
Rasmus: To really participate he'd have to work together with other people in a _team_. I really doubt optimus is capable of that. Most of his ramblings demonstrate in a not very profound way that he is mostly on an ego trip, may it be as twisted as it is.
