- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Is Real by Desire [web]
- I am not an intellectual nor I am a historian and on top that I have
difficulties to express my thoughts but despite all of those
shortcomings I would like to leave a comment:
One must not forget what preceded and led to the current outrage.
Atrocity, hatred, and innocent victims can be found on both sides. I
reckon the majority is sick of this everlasting conflict but a minority
of radicals and fundamentalists seems to be sufficient to fuel and
keep the vicious circle going. The parties have to recognize that the
"opponent(s)" will not disappear and - easier said than done - the
past and hatchet has to be buried and a compromise must be found
(the whole thing is awry and conflict-laden right from the
beginning). But i) as long as the Palestinians are not respected and
no agreement on an own state will be found (there have been
negotiations and offers over the last decades but all of them were
turned down by the Palestinian leadership if I am not mistaken) and
ii) as long as the terroristic attacks on Israel will continue and the
eradication of Israel is on the agenda of certain groups, I really do
not see a change for the better.
Thoughts of a back-seat driver. Thanks for your attention. Amen. - isokadded on the 2024-01-25 11:59:22
- 40k Amiga OCS/ECS Desire FM by Desire [web]
- What, no one has commented on the sphere yet? It rocks like the other
parts of this "I have to rub my eyes and look twice! Is this really
OCS?" demo; it feels more like OCS++ :-)
And all of that in just 40k. Thanks a lot for this impressive and exciting
release. I like!!! - rulezadded on the 2024-01-24 10:15:53
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Ordo
- That is a very, very nice and different first release - also noteworthy it is
a one-man show. I really do like the gfx (in particular the bears) and
how it is being presented. Definitely more than a slideshow. I like :-) - rulezadded on the 2024-01-08 16:38:45
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Hot Dots by Coma
- I can recall this one because it looked so much better and mature than
the previous releases. Never heard of the coder Jackie D. before, but I
really got impressed with his nice and swift dot effects. Moreover, it was
the first time I got aware of Virgill's work :-) - rulezadded on the 2024-01-01 15:18:31
- demotool Windows AmigAtari Bitmap Converter by Oxygene [web]
- Only had a quick look at github so far. Looks like a versatile and helpful
tool; thanks a lot for sharing! Do I see it right that it is also capable of
converting HAM images to 12bit true color data ($0RGB.w)? - rulezadded on the 2024-01-01 15:06:56
- demo Atari ST Dotummin Vitsei by Extream
- Nice. Can the dots also change their ypos? The number of >8000
makes me think of TLB's Punish-Your-Machine-Reset-Screen. Hello
to the ex-Schoofmoor comrade Mr. Inflagranti (=Oxygene) wherever
he may roam. - rulezadded on the 2023-12-20 09:53:25
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Blitter Pine by Quackers
- I like what I see but what struck me - as being a cloning expert?! - is
that this release pretty much resembles Green Ground by
Spreadpoint. Very interesting. Pure coincidence? Would have been
funny if the Quackers had called their release "Blue Ground" (or
Spreadpoint theirs "Blitter Fir") ;-) - rulezadded on the 2023-12-14 13:47:45
- intro Amiga OCS/ECS Green Ground by Spreadpoint [web]
- Never seen this beauty before. The scroller is really nice for 1989(?) and
so much green (-> my favorite color). Conclusion: I like :-) - rulezadded on the 2023-12-10 18:09:19
- invitation Amiga OCS/ECS 68k Inside 2024 Announcement by Spreadpoint [web] & AFWD & Dekadence [web]
- Little correction -> Ooops, I thought I had read copper-driven blits in
Depeche's comment but after re-reading it, I can only find "blitter
bobs". - isokadded on the 2023-12-09 16:37:23

- Listened to the music a couple of times and tried to grasp it...but I
failed. It simply gets too freestylish noisy for me at a certain point. But
as Depeche wrote, tastes are different. There again, the style is really
unique and you hear immediately Lord's handwriting.
Clean invitaion with nice-looking greetings in a barrel. I wonder how a
non(!)-copper-driven blitting approach would perform in comparison
with this exclusively processor based one? Pre-shifted letters could be
decadently used as well.
Anyway, Schpräddpeunt ruhls :-) - isokadded on the 2023-12-09 16:17:14
