- demo Atari XL/XE Reharden by HARD Software
- Thumbs up for a technical breakthrough in 2017!!!
Maybe someone should explain it in some better technical detail but I understood this demo introduces:
A) a new generic kernel-driven display mode called "HCM Mode 0". This is a 9 color mode with predictible CPU time left to do some realtime stuff.
B) a new sound-generation method called "Hardbass" which is a softsynth mode for Pokey's only true weakness - the bass. This is combined with standard RMT (Raster Music Tracker).
All presented from a guy who was active in the early 90s then disappeared :)
Thank you and welcome back Sandor of Hard! - rulezadded on the 2017-12-20 20:05:22
