.. and bored. really REALLY bored.
added on the 2001-12-28 by kb_
btw, if you want to beat us, start at <=10 bytes, we've got 11, but we wanted to release something aesthetic :)

Best Fr ever ;)

Rotfl! I love u guys. Reading the late comments (I am just going to run the 2 demos of u from TP) and these, and this tiny shit and everything, and the other comments with all fb people thumbing down their own, I somehow started to think strange and laugh to the bone and everything,. I don't know, hahahaha,. sorry to abuse this site, but they are phunnnyyyyy baby! Anyways,. 16bytes? How low can we go :)

well...
we really should have announced the 32byte intro compo at 0a000h. I hope some of you FR guys will come ! (the 64byte compo will rock =)

cool 16b!
"lds bp,[bx]" for "push 0a000h pop..."...to save precious bytes
added on the 2001-12-28 by neo
Cute trick, mates ;]
added on the 2001-12-28 by baze
cool trick, If I only got it to work.. ;P
added on the 2001-12-28 by kusma
cute.. i think this is the smallest thing i have seen excecpt int 19h wich is only 2bytes ;D
added on the 2001-12-28 by a_lee_n
Code:
MOV AL,13
INT 10
LES BP,[BX]
STOSB
ADC AX,DI
DB 64
ADC AX,[046C]
JMP 0106

heh.. love it.

hint to anyone trying to code a smaller intro: don't bother switching to 13h. Run in textmode and do funky graphics at 0b800h, heh.. I'd try it myself and blow you all out of the water, except I'm too lazy and this isn't my computer so it doesn't have any real super hardcode dev tools on it.
added on the 2001-12-28 by golrien
ihr habt alle eine(n) an der waffel. :D

I mean... i've just coded some wacky shit for a000, I come to pouet.net once again, to see if new tp stuff has arrived, and then THIS...

everyone has no compiler so here:

68 00 B8 07 BA 40 00 6C EB FD

yep. mov dx,40h is a fucking waste of bytes (3).

seemed to work nicely under w98, but not under w2k.. probably something about reading that timer port.

humm pretty good, sad the colors sucks a lot, so no thumbs up because no designed colors ;']

oh, even faster & more random rmx:

these text mode intros won't work in my win2k console, but who cares. here is my version:

C5 18 04 AC EB FB

ps: hopefully B000 is only emms frame and not a high loaded driver :)

droid: this is a different compo. here it's not fair to use extra display and sound libraries :)
added on the 2001-12-31 by picard
shit, I'm always bad in reading the rules/documentation :)
added on the 2001-12-31 by droid
picard, the award goes to you. this is sick. :)
added on the 2001-12-31 by ryg
yes, but it's a game, not a demo!
added on the 2001-12-31 by droid
I can fart in less than 16 bytes.
added on the 2002-01-01 by thom
Mother, mother my eyes hurt.

But this might be the best Farbrausch prod. At least in size/quality ratio.
added on the 2002-01-01 by DiamonDie
the best 64k ever:

90h (repeat this byte 65535 more times)
added on the 2002-01-02 by kusma
This intro sucks. My frend from z10 wrote 5 intros in same style for 5 minutes. kb_ you just made crap. check out http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=4836

bigger is better
added on the 2002-01-05 by jar
Yeah perhaps all these 16byte intro entries written in few minutes are nonsense, I could even sit down and write one to add in pouet, but I voted for the fun of the whole thing, and it was funny when I saw crazy people writting their tiny codes in hex in these comments :)
added on the 2002-01-05 by Optimouse
tiny codes sux :) The real power in demos and in 64k :)
added on the 2002-01-08 by night_
this stuff rox ^_^
( I'm in my crazy/tiny code period )
added on the 2002-01-08 by p01
You guys should try to do code in less then 0 bytes.
You know...
You see a nice effect, and it also frees up some space on your HDD :))
added on the 2002-01-10 by Gargaj
sure, i can do one :-)
rmdir c:winnt :-)
added on the 2002-01-10 by Hatikvah
Nice one.
added on the 2002-04-24 by megamies
Cool. I can type this straight to debug.com

I'm not quite sure how that thing can form circles... or if I know, I can't describe it.
added on the 2002-05-21 by Cesar
rocks!
added on the 2002-07-24 by dipswitch

added on the 2003-02-23 by shash
i like it!
added on the 2003-08-23 by ripper
I like the "less than 0 bytes" idea... seems pretty logical ;)
And yes, it does seem rather curious how they manage to form circles. It's straight ASM, with no supporting libraries/files... how the heck...?

Nice work, Farbrausch... as usual ;)

Sicksteen!
added on the 2005-06-09 by rio702
Ugly and pointless, but since it's a 16b intro that actually looks at least like "something", I won't thumb it down.

who needs kkrunchy anyway?

quite nice pattern
added on the 2007-08-12 by piksi
Nice program. It can be furether reduced by size at least down to 14 Bytes. But I guess you created 16 byte by purpose because it might be a special number. I am a newbie. Just learnt assembly programming some days ago and almost fully understand your code. I didnt understand the calculations though, so I will start a topic in the forum if thats okay. :D
added on the 2007-10-10 by lummox
Ugly, crap.
added on the 2007-12-09 by waffle
Great effect, considering the size of the code. This one also works inside DosBox!

added on the 2009-05-10 by M77
i doubt anything will look much prettier at 32b, and this is far enough from the 'AHAHA 0 BIT PROD IT DOESNT DO ANTYHING' shit soooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....'''''''````````````````
added on the 2009-05-10 by Confused
shit that was supposed to be a thumb up
added on the 2009-05-10 by Confused
This program has a mystical significance, is an art - to show through her man what he wants to see. white noise is not quite common.
