@Battle Droid: Good stuff imitation Desert Dream on C64 by Resource and Chorus, nice to see some people doing so much effort to duplicate the best demo by Kefrens.

@Gloom and @Magic: Does Laxity need to be coding anything for Kefrens, for us to do something? I did not know that :P

@Stefan: have you tried WinUAE? Or what about a real Amiga :P

Mellica : I loved Kefrens back in the days, especially old stuff like Megademo 8.

Let's hope you don't make the same mistake many people did, trying to bring back an old and famous amiga name 15 years later and dragging it in the dirt.

Of course he doesn't, but you can't exactly disregard the fact that he did in fact put Kefrens on the map in a _big way_ with that "soon-to-be-ripped-off-on-the-PC-platform" demo we all know and love. :)

Kefrens is about Mummies, so we're used to "living in the dirt" 0:O)
But don't worry... we're not here again to do what we already did... we're here to see what we can get out of the A500 in the year 2008...

@Gloom: I don’t think I am disregarding any facts, as I wrote “best demo by Kefrens” ;)
Laxity did not make this great demo without ideas from other Kefrens friends at that time´as a fact. Sometimes it is not only the coding that are behind a demo, but also cool ideas from others.

But I agree on Laxity being a cool coder and musician, no doubt about that.

And what Mellica is saying actually underlines what the REAL kefrens was all about: Friendship, and not internal competition that eventually destroyed us in the end... so whatever you'll see from us in the future will NOT have any names on the coding, cause that's what we would like to state with it... it's a colaboration project ;O)

So exactly WHY are you announcing this on the pouet BBS? I mean, ok if Magic had written about it (nobody would care).. I really don't get it. There's facebook, myspace and yadda yadda out there for people like you.

I'm glad you guys announced it here, it was some time since I last saw stefan lose his mind over some oldschoolers.

@Stefan: I saw that Pouet was so great a demo site and found a lot of our old Kefrens demos located here. So we thought hey, this cool site is maybe the best place to bring the news where Amiga folks maybe care a little bit. I could be wrong here, but I found it to be the best place to do it.

But if we are wrong to be here just let us know then we will be leaving again ;) We just found that some out there would know that we are working on something.

Pouet also contains a lot of "discussion-whores" - well, just ignore them, and work on your stuff and join the parties, and have fun :)

mellica, being sorry for the bad english that isn't that bad is another thing from the 90s. by now, people might be convinced enough to think that you really fit into the oldschool-drawer. :)
still, it's better than stefan's sad tries to be a better troll than the rest of us.
