Amiga 1200 AGA demos. Suggestions?

category: offtopic [glöplog]

Hmm,. 2 threads in a day!

I want suggestions for Amiga1200 demos. I have borrowed the machine from Antitec's brothers as you may now, it has 68020 (I don't remember damn, was it at 16mhz or 20mhz?) No FPU, 2MB chip memory + 6MB (or was it 4?) fast memory. AGA chipset. I want to watch more good and famous and wellknown AGA demos but especially for this machine. Most modern demos want 68030+ and by running 1-2, it was at 5-7fps or something..
I have discovered very few cool AGA demos that are good for my slow Amiga, like Nexus7 by Andromeda or Ninja by Melon, but I would like your suggestions for more titles especially to run in descent speed in the Amiga1200. Tell me just the titles and I will download from pouet..

Basicly everything released before 1995 runs fine with a normal A1200. After that lots of the demos want unfortunately at least 030 turbo and/or fpu for making watching enjoyable or even possible.

Anyways, here's some of my favourites (I can't guarantee all these work on nice framerate since I've always had at least 030 in my hands):

CNCD&Parallax: dEEP
CNCD&Parallax: dEEP - the Psilocybin Mix
CNCD: Closer
Ozone: Smokebomb
Haujobb: Burning Chrome
TBL: Tint (might require more memory than 6Mb)
Sonik Clique: Fad
Sonik Clique: Blur
Melon: Baygon
Sanity: Arte
Spaceballs: 9 fingers (well, State of the Art, too)
Polka Brothers: Friday at Eight
Virtual Dreams: Fullmoon

etc.

Pygmy Project : Gforce

The 020 runs at 14 Mhz

You can watch all demos execpt one coded for a lot of fastmem and for fpu (the last demos coded these 3-4 last years)

Just a few more that might run reasonably on 020 and are AGA:

Sanity - Roots 2.0
Melon Dezign - Planet M.
Polka Brothers - The Prey
Virtual Dreams - Love, Fullmoon, Psychedelic, Breathtaker
Andromeda - Sequential
Artwork - Dawn, Greenday, The Gate (needs 030?)
Bomb - Motion: Origin 2
Complex - Real, Origin
Parallax - Drool This, ZiF
Rebels - Switchback
<commercial break>
Abyss - Dove, Vertigo, Indifference, Cruisin', Damn!
</commercial break>
Stellar - Mindflow
CNCD - Closer (030?)
Oxygene - Control
The Silents - Fruit Kitchen

Roots by Sanity needs a 68030 in order to run (although AGA is not required).

*sigh, nostalgia*

Roots needs a 68020, and the first part requires AGA...
