I was searching for graphicians and coders to create a demogroup and the advertisement here was no good for anything.

I hope that you are lucky!

Ojuice is the place for this sort of stuff.
No serious coder would join such a shitgroup :-)

One that doesn't smile.
all serious coders have a contract with DXM and recive a couple of lousy euros for their code. ;-)

dylan: hint: go to some demoparty, have a drink, get shit wasted, make a demo with other random shit wasted people, lose the compo, and discover next morning that you've just founded a new and successful demogroup.

Or you could join an existing group. But if that's not what you want, why not use Demopaja? :) (If I received royalties for promoting Demopaja, I'd be rich!)
you'll get over that. (promoting demopaja)

sir RICHARD kbab actually we have some coders but each one is focused on some part... and mainly demopaja won't do intros ;P

Then hack it until it gives in and makes you an intro! Bwa ha ha!

On a more serious note, I'd look for a graphics person first. imho the textures were what held up your first intro.

crusader: the graphics were bad because the texgen sucked. Now we have a better texgen and the textures for the next intro will be much nicer ;)

dylan, sure thing. what i meant is that i doubt you'll find another person who'll fit the team spirit of your group by means of a pouet forum. at demoparties you very easily discover who the persons are that you like (and my way of doing that is getting drunk with them, hence my example). and fact is, you'll very quickly quit making stuff together if your attitude towards things is totally different.

buzzie: believe me, it was the graphician.

kusma: i was the "graphician", never send a coder to do the graphicians work. ;)

buzzie: the textures are still bad graphicians work. Sorry, but you CAN'T blame the texgen. By looking at the textures in the intro, I can clearly see that the texgen had potential you didn't explore, and the color-choices was kind of... bad.
Sure, a better texgen might improve the visual quality as in less artifacts and such, but thats not the essence here.

kusma: as i wrote in the readme (i think), expect more from the final ;)
and next time we will have someone that will explore the full potential of the texgen.
