Still rendering and uploading. I only have 3-year-old Athlon dual-core so it takes about a day to render and upload one (footage is 1080p, each clip is over an hour, 2-pass mp4 encoding). Somebody buy me a faster machine!

Hey trixter, is it possible for you to send a direct link, at least to the first seminar - I can't seem find the thing - or are we waiting for somebody to approve?

They are waiting for me to finish uploading and checking sizes, etc. The files take 3 to 7 hours to transfer and 5-24 hours to render based on content and size (I rendered the actual demos out where possible, zoomed in on silde content, etc.) so it is taking a while...

When done I'll notify them and you :-)

hmmm,did you fuck them videos up? its all sounding like shouting into some bucket,kinda tubic! i just hope its only my pc,as its hard to follow with this soundeffekt! its annoying for sure! sounds like a datastream!

the audio is from the PA, not from direct feed, unfortunately :(

Part of what took Trixter so long was painstakingly recovering the audio from cameras not meant to be collecting the sound as they did; there was thought to be a direct feed recording and there turned out not to be. Trixter then went and got the speakers to provide original slides and added them in post production so you could see what being talked about. Eat your greens.

Does one of you have the videos of the compos with the unedited audio track ? (not the one we can find on demoscene.tv)

Sadly, I did not record the compos because I wanted to really concentrate and enjoy them, and also because Demoscene.tv was already recording them. You'd have to ask them for the original audience track.

any chance to get a download link ?

and btw, are the slides available?
