OKTALIZER! Great tracker that brings to me good memories. :)
oktalizer ruled backed then ! i still have the original ('91) :)
(the volume 4-voice-coupling restriction was a bit harsh but well, you really needed a faster CPU for that at a decent mixrate ;))

i.e. a faster CPU to allow volume changes for all 8 channels individually ;)
Hmmm... Sorry for the typo :) I'm almost sure that the correct spelling is Oktalyzer. Right?
damnit man, I though the same.. just did a quick google search and found hits... same mistake ;) yea, I think it was called "Oktalyzer" ;)
the T.A.R demosongs were ace, btw (..really loved their hackmag #3 diskmag mod..)
I used Startrekker (I think that this was really the first 8-channel tracker, with a little bit less sound quality than Oktalyzer) for a while and later Oktalyzer and then Octamed. However I turn to Protracker and 4 channel mods because of the lack of CPU power of the A500. ;)
Anyway, Oktalyzer has one of the best 8-channel routines for A500.

I only have a faint memory of the 8# Startrekker but did it really have a mixing routine (vs. 4 voices spread to 8 tracks) ..?! no idea..
protracker definitely (IMHO) was the coolest tracker for the A500 (v2.3?)
but damnit, these tools were so simple compared to today's standards :)

Paper Planes from Slumdog Millionaire's soundtrack is 95% The Clash's Straigth to Hell!

if it doesn't contain The Winstons' "amen brother" it's bound to be crap.
There is a simple checklist for `modern music':
Is it good?
[yes] -> it is stolen, remixed or sampled
[no] -> it is selfmade

Hate tu ruin your checklist numtek but Timbaland wouldnt fit in it.
There's a sample of Technotronic's "Pump Up the Jam" on my remake of Romeo Knight's Dyna Song. Now go try spot it ;)

But M.I.A. is fucking awesome so who cares.
@dubmood: Sure you aren't letting feelings cloud your judgement?
you mean that since I didnt like what timbaland did before the acidjazz history happend means I should like him afterwards? :S
