There is a train leaving Gardermoen at 23:38 (arrives at Haga 00:51).

You can check the train tables at http://www.nsb.no/?lang=en_US and put the following in the "Buy ticket" form:
From=GARDERMOEN OSLO LUFTHAVN
To=HAGA

Skrebbel: Like Datsua said, get on the train to Haga station and then call me (+4741229999) or Dozer or anyone in the orgateam and we'll have Dozer pick you up at the station :)

Yes, he doesn't drink, and yes, that means he is the designated driver. ALWAYS. His opinion is mute.

the Top Men shall both return.

Truck: I hereby reserve one crate.

Gargaj: And I propose to not have my life turned upside down one and a half week before the party this year, and actually attend. As you well know, you filled my shoes last year :)

skrebbel, if you land at 23:25, you will have trouble making the train leaving 13 minutes later. As you surely know you need to go through customs etc, so if you are to make that particular train, you need to land at least 15 minutes early. perhaps there is a train leaving later?

anyhow, see you there! we will be there with the pornmobile again :)

Gargaj: I was thinking we could all help each other out, and then that hopefully leaves more time for socializing for everyone :)

This year KG celebrates it's 15th birthday btw, so remember to bring your cakes :)

Skrebbel: thanks for pointing out that we were missing this: http://www.demoparty.net/kindergarden2009/.

The website is horribly outdated, I'll look into it "soon" (yeah, there's this thing called real life and it's acting up on me).

xrs, good point. i haven't checked yet though because the norwegian train site doesn't work in opera (so ironic), and i couldn't be arsed to fire up a different browser yet :-)

ah oh wait. it isn't opera. it's "november". any suggestions on which month is a good substitute for november when it comes to norwegian train schedules? apparently NSB (great name btw!) can't imagine people wanting to plan ahead. odd mismatch with scandinavian culture here btw :-)

wow, i learn so much! turns out the dutch fascist party NSB was actually called after Norges Statsbaner instead of the other way around!

i always found it funny that the biggest norwegian bank is called DNB and the railway company is called NSB - it kindof figures, really.

slrebbel, hahaha interesting stuff.. quite clever to name your organization after a completely different countrys state railway company :) anyhow.. yeah, the 23:38 train is the last one. if you miss that one, you will have to wait at the airport until 05:38 (ouch!). so.. this is what i would do:

1. try to get an earlier plane
2. have someone pick you up at the airport!

leia,arcane: how far from haga is gardermoen? cant be that far.. at most an hour? someone should be able to help you out.. unfortunately we will have the huge pornmobile again and probably be silly drunk that late, so we are out. but you know.. demoparties are FILLED with sober ppl hehe.. i am sure the orgas will find a good solution.

cheers and see ya!
