demoish videogame moments
category: general [glöplog]
lol, a game called 'quantum theory' with gears of war combat and the slow motion dismemberments from fallout3, this is actually real
I'm not sure I get what this is supposed to look like other than what confused said.
demoish cos they use a 3d engine?!?!?!
Well, the video began to buffer at exactly 2:35. Is that what's so sceneish about it? Apart from that, I couldn't find anything typically sceneish there (no glow, no ribbons, no cubes).
He thinks it looks exactly like that Debris part. The flying carpet thing.
Sceners need to spend more time outside their bubble.
tron2.0 was pretty demoish in general, as well as the unreal 2 intro sequence
heh, that phong (?) shaded tunnel at 0:25 actually reminds me a bit of Sleepless... :)
zplex: Is that real time?
Probably not, but it could be and more then that when you see the 3D engine which rocks. Btw, atleast 1 demoscener in that developer team, arjan brusee.
@Zplez: Yeah, it would seem a lot of work to code.
cool, didn't know that arjan brusee was in the scene before at all. :D
holy shit are there a lot of people involved in that title
The ending of Modern Warfare 2 sometimes reminded me of
a Cocoon demo! :)

Very cool end-credits in that Killzone 2 video. The last bit, with the cubes, could easily be realtime. In fact, it seems like a waste of both space and time NOT to do it in realtime.
saga: ultraforce!!!!! and he made jazz jackrabbit!!!
MegaMan 4 on the NES has rasterbars. Yeah.
Maali, of course, but Jazz Jackrabbit is not a scene prod.
Battlezone's rave gun
