I'm just confused as hell as to why the amiga demos are all in 1080HD and the PC ones aren't?! Seriously, A500 in 1080p?

i have recorded a couple of atari demos in full hd off an 80s RGB screen, one nice thing about it is that you kindof get that "non-square pixel" phenomenon back

Megavideo is still beta quality, with sound en/decoding problems and stuff. Also, framerate is stuttering for the 3 videos I tested, and probably all. The 4:3 stuff, at least Mental Hangover, has been simply stretched to fill the screen.

These three things are examples of how to not upload videos. I sure hope you didn't use a 'movie' codec for capturing, in that case there's a fourth thing to learn.

I would actually have appreciated cammed demos (with a good camera of course) more, then the low online-video framerate can be made less noticable. Very few demos can be made to mix frames into 24-30 fps, but a good camera will :)

I had hopes, but I don't see how these are fixed at all, rather the opposite.

Either way, good initiative, but learn/correct these things and you will have something people will enjoy! :)
