It's like using GeoCities for hosting and asking us why that's a problem.

why putting ads on a demoscene website? :(
added on the 2011-11-16 14:43:12 by rez rez
ok, put the screenshot of the ad.
i'm not obsessed on ads(well, my stupid idea were about borrow money to pay rent website, idea gone), i'm crazy on the intros)
here is some issues:
1. youtube links, rrola promised to help what, he's disappeared. my friend can't help me w/capturing videos on a DosBox. maybe poet.net links will help)
2. syntax highlighter - what do you think?
3. tags - in to do list. i have no idea, how to describe intros, maybe tagging would help.
4. Forum/Message board. it would be great to discuss something, but.. i know what you, guys, are so lazy to login on a website)
5. what kind of tools do you need on a site? disassembler, debugger, something else?
1. maybe
2. for what? source?
3. yes, good idea.
4. dunno, so many forums already.
5. links to docs perhaps?

See, if you were using untergrund.net, you'd only have to pay for a domain and there would be no further costs.

again - how stable undergrund?
Quote:
untergrund.net is stable and reliable (now that it's running on new servers).

I haven't noticed any downtimes or such since the new server is running.
Feels eerie to see 256b.com v3 back from the dead ... on another domain name after taking the dust on my various HDD backups year after year.

i've meet w/alot of fuckups, so, not sure.
aaah, time to shit breaks. all CC intros base is huge mess.
database seems like redunant(

p01, may i ask you about purpose of 'source_code' field?

Checking the big .sql file, I see no field called 'source_code' but a tinyint ( aka Boolean in old MySQL parlance ) field called 'source_available' in the 'demos' table. I think it's pretty obvious it should be set to 1 for 'demos' whose source code is available in the archive. No ?

ok, i've got it. do you want to echo "source code included" in an intro info? guess, yes)
sorry for up.
how RSS looks? may I ask a screenshot?

thanks.
Seems as if table redesign would be smart. Why not add an id for each production and a prod_id in the source-code-table. Then simply left join the source-code table. Returns NULL if code isn't present or source if it is.
