Demoscene article in '2600: The Hacker Quarterly'

category: general [glöplog]
Any publicity is good publicity?

Since I work in a related industry some articles look interesting, but even the 2600 website looks like its from the late 90s. What kind of audience does 2600 (even) reach these days? (does it matter)

Well,

The article was based on my senior computer science academic paper.

If you write a paper, it should at least be accurate. Saying nothing worth while happened in the PC scene after Dope was released in 1995 is ludicrous and so are many other things in the article.

Maybe the actual paper is better? Darwin, can you share your paper?

also, where's the actual research to make it academic? (dated) opinions without other references or research data to back it up is more like journalism than research.
lmao. that website

Circulation was ~50k in 2009 according to Wikipedia. Might be a bit lower these days.
