Looking for 3 Amiga demos

category: general [glöplog]

Can anybody help me to find these demos/intros or at least tell me the names of the ones I described?

1. The "Starvision Demo". An intro or megademo, can't remember.

2. I think it was an intro, there was a skeleton walking back and forth at the top which looked like the one from the Danish Gold website and the rest of the screen was filled with (scroll-)text and some copper bars.

3. Again an intro, there was a scrolltext at the bottom, the rest of the screen was filled out with an static image of a street leading into a tunnel of a mountain/rock.

These could be about 8 million early demos and intros. But. I'll take a wild guess and suggest #2 is Accession's Graveyard Party Blues.

And #3 might by an early demo by Quackers, especially if the song contained liberal use of the sample 'Quackers.'

Otherwise, um, maybe something that couldn't be applied to quite so many demos.
Had a look at Graveyard Party Blues, that's not the one.

Here's a sketch I did in Photoshop, what it looked like:

I'm checking some other Accession demos now and trying to find a Quackers demo in ADF format...

Neither are the ones I search "Fractal Frenzy" by Accession or Quacker's "Partydemo".

yeah it was definately not fractal frenzy or any of the later Accession demos.

Any clue on the sound, that really looks very much like ... a lot of early demos.
There aren't really more than 3 amiga demos that are any good anyway, I understand you perfectly.
This one eventually:

I remember another one with a skeleton but i can't put a name on it.

Sir Garbagetruck: Close, very close, but I think the skeleton was on top and it was walking back and forth from left to right, facing the corresponding direction, though it might also be my bad memory. Maybe the demo I'm looking for stole the idea from this one?

I can't remember anything about the music.

Any clues on the other ones I'm searching? I'll try sketching the tunnel-one later...

And the Quackers demo wasn't it?

Domenei: That's right. The rest are outstanding and kick total and complete ass. Just 3 were of the 'average' level.
one may wonder how this quest emerged.
Kodoichi: I'm not sergeant truck.

There, take this one, it includes: a road, a scrolltext and as a bonus you even have a *second* scrolltext.

hitchhikr: Sorry for the name confusion %| In case there isn't a similar demo like to the other one, I guess that's the one. The font is right, the street is right, the mountains and logo look different from what I had in mind. I'll just pretend this is the one I'm looking for, thanks.

ps: you could add some "auto-paste" buttons around this textbox to eventually help impotents freaks like me to write the tags correctly (also having a larger textbox could help).

Or just make it auto-sense urls and put appropriate tags around them... You know I can't use those tags anyway, I seem to get them wrong every freaking time.
firefox does http:// recognition automatically.. its not my fault you use knoppix ;)

I'm using Firefox silly. And it doens't auto-exand images.

And no, it doens't, that's a plugin for monkeywhatever (linkify) - check your managed scripts, you'll see it there.
