Is it just me, or has ftp.scene.org been very slow recently?

I have started using ftp.se.scene.org and ftp.de.scene.org instead but the problem is they don't carry all the releases, especially the new ones.

The web interface was, for the first time in recorded history, lightning fast as I downloaded the rest of the Scene Event productions.. but I couldn't get a direct FTP access at all.

this is certainly still the post-assembly rush. anyway, at least the german mirror should be more or less up to date all the time.

The 1GB mindcandy 2 preview might also have something to do with it. :) oh well, no bit torrent for us.

takes 1 day for files to get into the mirrors.

bits of scene.org are slow, bits are fast. Example, ftp to upload files to a site is fast to connect, but at the same time the website doesn't respond.

Live with it. Redhound & scene.org orgs do a great job & provide a great service.

hehe... i kinda love it when posts complaining turn into sudden praising. :)

you know, some day and some time there's going to be a server upgrade. right now we're not running out of diskspace for another year bear with it until 2006 or so.
