Now seriously, here goes my new year's resolutions list for 2006:

1 - start making serious demos, no more crap
2 - play one demo (at least) per day. every end of the month, make a demoshow and spread the scene amongst the other mortals
3 - not post to pouet every day. try to stay away from it
4 - eat more fruit
5 - organize my music collection
6 - lose weight
7 - if everything else fails, still try not to get completely wasted at demoparties - except bgparty, of course.

1 - BASS!

first i thought it might be a good new year's resolution to quit smoking. but then again i don't really smoke so that would be bit too easy. so instead i thought 2006 would be a good year to make some kickass demos for a change... and that's a promise.

now we are on the right track!

I will make demos and intros.

finish projects.

4) if everything else fails, still try not to get completely wasted at home with a fucking fever

5 - organize my music & pron collections, demo collection is already organized \o/

1. Start smoking. If it's too hard to get into the routine I'll try starting with nicotine gums and patches, then gradually move to cigarettes.
2. Lose weight. Hopefully this comes automagically when I start smoking.
3. Try heroine. You gotta try everything once.

I'm going to get a girlfriend, study, and stop posting on pouet. If everything fails I'll try to code some intros.

I didn't knew he said "OFFBLAST!". Did you know that my current favorite phrase "ZE BLAST!" comes from that clip? But now I see it's OFFBLAST!, I was really mistaken, but I'll keep ZE BLAST! cause I got used to it and it's great and originally and not coming from Zlad's music since it's not the same since I was mistaken so it's original because it's not coming from OFBBLASt!

everytime i read "ZE BLAST" i'm reminded of this old demo of mine which is kinda cool in a nostalgic way ;)

..do you know I was thinking of opening exactly the same thread one day before 2006? Now I will just post my own resolutions here:

Okkies..

1) Getting my diploma (definitelly happens inside 06 cause all I have to kill is 3.5 + 1 lessons now), making a diet, getting a girlfriend, a job or making afterstudies in Germany, visiting demoparties and Javier, fucking the army, getting the GP2X in my hands, playing Contra3 on SNES with an old friend and other real life hocus pocus.

2) I have half finished demos that I wanted to finish by the end of 2005 and didn't managed. So they will be finished either for Forever party, Pixelshow or for Breakpoint of 2006. But I really want to finish more stuff for Pixelshow because I really like the party and adore the people behind it and so I really want to support this as I did the last year. As for BP releases, it's only planned in case I was too lazy to finish stuff for PS, but anyways it's just about 1 week after BP though the date is not fully decided yet. Btw, I most probably won't be there at BP, just some friends will be there for sure and they will handle my stuff, so. For Forever, there are CPC competitions and I will kick a new CPC demo with my finished routines, a dream of me after 3 years of a step beyond and lameness. For the rest, I really wan't to finish my 2nd C64 demo which will show I am not lame there (only 10% finished :P), and the GamePark32 demo is (estimating) 65%, though I have many effects and my first software 3d engine half ready, so I can bring out a demo already with these stuff, although I may code some more effects and improve the engine. Most probably C64 demo goes for BP and the GP32 for PS or BP. But I will have to code other stuff for PS as I said. I'd really like to make a second OpenGL demo. Too much demoresolutions for such a sort period so I'll probably be lost in uberproject masturbation..

3) And that's only before the Summer. Then I may have finished the diploma, so I really don't know. Most probably I'll make my year 2006 and a half resolutions (VESA mode, Multicolor IFLI, etc) when it's done..
