Defaulting to abbreviated groupnames (for names over a certain length?) in lists feels like obscuring information imho. Any chance this could be reverted? (or switched off in account settings?) - You can hover over the abbreviations to get the full name.

I second Korvkiosken, I hate obscuring the information fex. in slack threads and other UI/UX fuckups.. plz revert to normal names if name length does not exceed N ? - That's what it does: https://github.com/pouetnet/pouet2.0/blob/master/include_pouet/pouet-group.php#L 14 (N=15)

glöp - Gargaj: But even for most groups with a registered abbreviation I'd think an ellipsis would be more informative. Beyond TBL and (maybe) ASD I don't think the abbreviations are that well-established.

ehrmm, what? Slummy? I thought you were an oldskooler! We started with just ABBs allover! Remember cracks on C=64...Directories with 16 char-limit...the last 4 of those were used for /XXX as a Groupname! The most Greetings in old scrollers are just like: "ABB,ABC,DCS,FGG,Irata,PMC,RBS,TRS,XYZ" ! -
