but what disks CAN be used in an amiga? -

Saga Musix: From a quick glance at Lemon Amiga the theory is that HD disks can't hold the data as long as DD before they deteriorate. I have yet to see any1 else say they are bad for the drive. -
I have Amstrad CPC disks that still work. Though some of them not. But my cassettes are all flawless! -
There’s no problem with using HD disks on Amigas with DD drives as long as you give the HD disk at least 10 seconds in a microwave oven first. -
I've found that 10 seconds at 600W works best, what setting do you use? -
i fix whole boxes of amiga floppies with a turbochef at 6200W and impingement at max -

low effort prods have always been around, we just tend to remember the high effort ones better ;) -
also, true sizecoding is the opposite of effortless - sizecode more than 5 rectangles though, a pot noodle is not a gourmet meal
