rules didn't allow freedos, so we had to either change the rules next time or give them a chance to enter at another party. TomCat chose to release in real wild where the rules allowed it. If I'm organizing the intro compos next year I'll make sure to revise the rules to allow more platforms. Thanks -

Another plug for the only 1k/4k intro that doesn't require you to install 100MB worth of drivers and onether 100MB of emulator(VM) for it to run -> https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=87078 - Agreed that the 1k compo should accept any modern platform. AFAIK all the 1k and 4k run on a stock PC. Nothing unreasonable with that.
- instead it requires you to climb up your parents' attic... find that obsolete old piece of hardware, remove all the spiders, check if it still runs... buy a utp-to-serial network converter to download the .zip etc etc :P
