there's software in the computer but it's locking me out artifically just because i don't have a disk with bootblock and startup-sequence! -
put differently, you have messed up your disk drive and workbench disks - Is it like a holy mandate for amiga users to keep WB disks always around? I had an Amiga in storage for almost 20 years that I couldn't boot because I had no boot disk. Sounds like planned obsolescence to me! Yet another minus point for the Amiga.

If no WB disk at hand, internet implies to spam CTRL+D at Kickstart boot-up to drop into CLI. -
