unused cpu is wasted cpu. -

Computer scientists say that we only use 10% of our cpu -

Most of the time blitter runs idle. You turn the nasty on, and the cpu runs idle. All those transistors flipping and flopping in the wind with results getting discarded. Even the instruction word for DIV can't be fetched. Oh the tragedy. -
Jäit sauteen taa, se kyllä syödään aikanaan -
Who needs a CPU? Copper and blitter should be enough for everyone. -
do those count as a gpu -
A demo not using the CPU? Isn't that like a man not using his brain? That's what I thought... Then I realized I don't use mine that often either. -
CPUseless -
and we've also already seen amiga demos not using the amiga ;) -
Amiga is the only thing in the way of modern Amiga demomaking -

make a demo about it. and make it exactly how we tell you or gtfo. -
Amiga has seen both sides now: Demos that run without CPU today, and back in the 1980s, it was games that ran with no custom chip usage at all (thankyouataristports) -
Hey I heard the deletion of "leftpad" was used by "millions of developers around the world" and I started to wonder if there is really million developers (as in "computer programmers") on earth? -
1 million is roughly 1% of the active working population of the USA alone, nevermind the entire world. so yes you can have a tiny relative population percentage that still sounds like large when listed as an absolute value, simply because there are so many people on earth -
so 1% or more of active working population might be using leftpad? -
the world population is more than 20x the population of the USA. assuming employment numbers are the same everywhere (which they aren't), 'millions' would be more like 0.2% of the active working population
