Ah, I'm sorry, I was unspecific about my actual concideration: I knew of the calls, but I was wondering which libs that I use to add support for them. Turns out NVIDIA uses GLEW in their OGL examples, so I'll do the same. OGL seems like a mess. -
uh libs? those calls are defined in the standard OpenGL binaries such as OpenGL32.dll or libGL.so. GLEW is just a simplification layer on top of those for extension checking etc. (its name is OpenGL Extension Wrangler Library) -
GLEW is a sane choice. -
kusma: I agree, but my point is GLEW (or likes) is not a "must" for getting shaders to kick in. Also graga I think you might want to google glext.h a bit :) -
Decipher: I don't think they are in OpenGL32.dll, but in nvogl.dll (and the ATI/whatnot counterpart). -
