True. Although plugins/addons developers are minority. Also they should use the dev or beta channels to notice and adapt to API changes with up to 10-12 weeks heads up. -
Some Firefox add-on devs gave up because of the fast cycle ... I really liked Mouse Gestures Redox :( Still works, just no longer updated. -
p01: the problem is that if your plugin doesn't change (but still works because the API you're using hasn't changed - normal with minor version changes) you still have to update it. -
I'm using a plugin that has been updated in 2008 for the last time, surprisingly it still works (but every now and then Firefox "updates" it or something...) -

boring for the DJ perhaps, but not as much for the audience. listening to someone struggling with keeping two 12" in tempo sucks. -
no, that's precisely why laptop dj'ing is boring - again: boring for who? i play vinyl, and cds, and i use traktor on occasion. i enjoy playing vinyl the most, but they don't necessarily make the most interesting sets.
