was a good read setsuko! -
mog: most of this stuff is very bizarre, unlistanable, slowed, badly looped, timbalanded new age, smooth jazz & elevator music :) of course some albums are original and dope -
See that short doc I posted earlier, couple excellent picks on that one :) -
my favourite (probably it was timbalanded and then slowed down though ;) http://fortune500.bandcamp.com/album/cybernet-utopia -
Personally I strongly dislike all the slow megasampled stuff. That one isn't too bad tho, plenty of originality there too -
Vapourwave is still a thing? -

vaporwave will stay. you know dnb was dead circa 1999-2000 and demoscene discovered it after pendulum i guess :) -
lol, i'm sure vapourwave will be as strong a genre as chillwave and nu-rave! -

Vaporwave is more lasting than chillwave, seapunk and other of-the-month genres. Really vaporwave is the logical conclusion to all the genres preceding it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was here to stay. -
It's all here to stay, but I doubt it'll go further than some tapes shared on bandcamp tbh -
definitely. vaporwave is officialy added as genre on discogs. chillwave and nu-rave still not. plus many people in techno/house/hip hop underground rather like vaporwave -
But what about googlecore.. -
Good point, I have hard time taking any bandcampcore seriously...
