Who was who made a cool real-time ray tracing effect in a demo where boxes fell around? I can't find it :( -
Stargazer by Orb and Andromeda? https://youtu.be/YLcDOgzZPb8?t=112 Here's the part I think you're referring to. -
THANKS :) -
You're welcome! :) -
was it ray tracing though ? I thought it was just many cube maps -
Cubes on a map with cubemaps mapped onto the cubes on the map. -
well ain't that cube... BUT IT'S WRONG! -
Lol two stupid dogs -
"Stupid dog, you make me look bad!" -

Am I right in assuming at least four vertex shader get executed, when I render worlds on two triangles? Is it also true that I can use any of these four to create more runs through the geometry shader? And after that, I can use all of that in the fragment shader? All these layers.. Fascinating! -
Geometry shader comes first, then vertex, then fragment. -
yes. -
first there was Menace, now -

Don't use geometry shaders, they're pretty slow. Better use compute shaders or instancing tricks.
