gloom: actually for once it was quite clear and almost coherent, just couple of hours too late and then resolution bugs shit hit the fan in capture... partyfinal video coming soon, quite remarkably better -
this is how I (graphics guy) do my version control at work too: liquixion_final5_2_m1t.wav :D -

damn, just fixed "liquiXion: the demo man" http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=67919 1080p support, this was unfortunately broken in the compo causing messy overlays (and fixed in 15 minutes now, damn...) -
I fell asleep during the "main" demo compo AGAIN. For some reason it's the most uninteresting category. -
Sooo are we gonna talk about this or? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ57RkQj_n8 -
shadertoy.com -
aye exactly :/ -
well did they get proper credit? -
4 different programmers were credited in the demo itself, none of those people were the authors of the shaders -
not even special thanks. i mailed the compocrew about it when people on assemblytv twitch channel started posting links to the shader sources spotted, i think they should be disqualified. -
Oh wow, that sucks -
I highly doubt it was necessary to use Vulkan. -
or 64-bit assembler... -
put this "demo" on pouet and let people comment.. pls :] -
I guess they just wanted to use the most unnecessarily complicated way possible to compile other peoples shaders. -
https://files.scene.org/browse/parties/2016/assembly16/ go nuts -
it's "funny" how they actually _removed_ credits that were in comments in most of shaders - wtf (!) -
lamorism detected? -
Doesn't appear to be even using vulkan either. Code seems to be one of the tutorials from http://ogldev.atspace.co.uk/ -
Is it assembler either, as it ships with visual studio runtimes? -
Should have left that university logo out... -
maybe the audience/public reaction is the REAL demo?? -
I can't say for 100% that there isn't some line of code somewhere which was done in asm but it all looks like c/c++ to me. It is definitely loading the vc dll's and using c intrinsic functions and such. -
joke/troll prod then?
