Saga: I love how they went through the trouble to render a "making of" video too :D -
The making-ofs are not rendered :) -
Yes they are :) -
// merkityksettömiä huhuja -
Garg, care to explain? Which part is supposed to be rendered? -
The bass part might be legit, but none of the drum parts are. Cymbals arent moving even though there's considerable shaking on the platform, too much cuts of action happening at the same time, top and bottom parts of the hihat don't displace when hit... -
I'd argue that the audio is probably not original (no ambient mic as with the other parts) so maybe the robots are just hitting the drums with less force than it looks like? I mean, he definitely has the robots, so why fake it... -
Because cramming three of those robots in a room that small is probably against safety regulations? :) -
Or the cymbals are just glued in-place :D There is definitely some movement on the hats... -
IMO it's equally cool if it's rendered ot real -
calm down people, calm down, nothing to see -
I must've mistyped demozoo again. also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbnuusfXVV4 -
Garg: according to someone who uses the same type of robot in their company, the robots cannot move very fast. So maybe the drum part is just sped up, which might explain the cymbals as well ;) -
skrebbel: absolutely, I've been listening to his albums, his music is on point :)
