Personally, and I know people agree, I prefer "Meditation" which won the previous year.
The demo compo was in a (non-)accel combo-compo due to lack of contributions. This demo (ours) was the only one that was non-accel.
The voting system sucked so badly so a decision was made to have a jury pick out the winners.
