bah german
Well, yes, some people still prefer writing articles in their native language. German language mags have a long tradition, both, commercial and scene-related. Cream, Blackmail, Suicide, Platinum, TAP.Mag, WildMag, the early Hugi (and later Huger.Ger) and many others. Many of them are as good as the known international mags, released in the same period, technically and text quality wise.

But some people are just a little ignorant and diss everything that they can't understand. But do I dislike Cooler, just because it's a russian mag, that I can't read? NO, of course not.

The "hidden parts in diskmags" article by Adok is in English, btw. :)

What should I say after this text? #5 includes reports from TRS 3.1 beta and Dialogos 2001. There is also many scene-related stuff. Enjoy it.

@Tomaes:

Maybe one ought to translate some of the articles from old German diskmags to the English language so that international people can enjoy them as well... Perhaps it would be an interesting idea to create a new mag containing only English translations of selected articles (good ones that are still interesting today) from old German diskmags. Of course all authors must be asked for permission...

Wildmag quality raised from issue to issue, unluckily it's dead now...

get it at scene.org
some fragments of articles are hard-to-understand-because-of-the-german-lang, but in overall, i like, its also good to practice some language skills :)
