Would be even cool if the layers were getting darker and darker or used slightly different colors like in sqwerz3 which was release one year before.

o_O the results of Scenest 1997 only list this prod in the 256b compo, but Pouet has half a dozen 256b for this party.

Hi, this is the author of sqwerz3. This effect was plagiarised from sqwerz3. If you look at the binary files, they have a long string of bytes in common. Basically, Shock took sqwerz3 and removed the palette code so that instead he could fit a string telling his lie.
